About Tring Park School for the Performing Arts

"A fusion of natural talent and creativity combined with fine teaching and direction"

Tring Park School for the Performing Arts is a rare institution: it is one of a tiny handful of schools in the country which stand at the forefront of artistic specialist education in the UK and abroad. Tring Park offers a unique opportunity for outstandingly gifted young people to specialise in Dance, Drama or Musical Theatre whilst providing an excellent academic education to GCSE and 'A' level. Pupils perform regularly at the highest level in both London and regional theatres and regular performances are given at Tring Park's own Markova Theatre.

Tring Park School for the Performing Arts is a co-educational boarding and day school with 290 pupils between the ages of 8-19. Entry to the School is by audition only. Scholarships are available for Dance under the DCSF's Music and Dance Scheme and The Dance and Drama Awards. Substantial school scholarships are available for Musical Theatre and Drama.

Tring Park is housed in a former Rothschild family mansion situated in 17 acres of attractive grounds in Tring, Hertfordshire, only 33 miles from London with convenient access from nearby motorways. The school provides accommodation for over 200 boarders and up to 100 day pupils.

Facilities include a purpose-built studio theatre, large dance studios, music rooms, as well as the normal academic facilities.

Tring Park is a vibrant artistic community which no amount of printed information and pictures can adequately convey.  For a prospectus or to arrange a school visit please tel. 01442 824255 or email info@tringpark.com
